MMA as we now know it has only been around for like 15 years. Those early UFC events from when I was a kid were pretty much skilled tough man competitions/

That being said, it doesn't excuse them from paying their athletes like shyt. Especially because I would argue that [the countries] where the sport is popular, it is as popular as boxing. Ratings are PPVs are comparable.

This is so true. Rich people literally drop thousands in casinos like it aint nothing. Hell i was in VEgas this past weekend and was playing roulette with this dude. I did pretty good myself and won like $600, but this dude i was playing with (some old white dude) some how won like 20K! Then he proceeded to lose like $50K! I'm sitting there like , meanwhile the dude had the most nonchalant look on his face. ala Truly astonishing.

It's obvious that this dude was rich and couldn't give a damn about losing 50K, but couldn't he just give that 50K to his employees or something? The casino is really the only place rich people feel comfortable fukking off millions without a care in the world it seems.

Conor Mcgregor.. an up and coming pound for pound fighter, with the intensity of Pacquiao and the brash and confidence of Mayweather. Dude's going to be a problem in MMA. A featherweight/lightweight that can potentially move up to middleweight in the future, given his skill set.
