The only big worth shyt in this draft is Alex Len. If he gains like 15-20 pounds and becomes more aggressive he could be a problem. By FAR the most skilled big in the draft. Got a good back the basket game already.

Zeller having Aldridge potential is a rediculous comment though :dead:

Your franchise ain't going nowhere with Chris Bosh as the star

My franchise doesn't have any stars. Bosh atleast brings some pedigree to my team who has nothing right now. If he doesn't want to stay, i can trade him at the deadline. If everything goes to plan, Bosh goes crazy in Charlotte as the #1 , gets the fans excited for the first time in a long time, maybe he likes it, he probably won't get max from a legit contender if he opts out, he's the face of the NEW Charlotte Hornets in 2014, helps turn Charlotte into OKC because the fans are great but they need something to cheer for...

what player is remotely available that would lead the Bobcats somewhere then?

Ain't enough superstars in this league to go around.

which is exactly why the nba's salary cap rules are flawed and lead to competitive imbalance

This thread is about Bosh potentially going to Charlotte, a team that would do anything to be in Milwaukee's playoff spot.

By makin' gradual improvement, w/ someone who's nearin' 30, and looks to have lost that "it" factor he had in Toronto? Don't think Jordan should be lookin' for the quick fix here, @ least in Bosh, I think it'd be wiser to go with the pick instead of Bosh.

I get this side too. I get where Charlotte's coming from. Some teams are viewed as "too young" and don't have veterans surrounding them pushing them along. It's easy to turn winners into losers. If you bunch up young talent and all they do is lose, they're gonna think this is how it'll always be. A guy like Bosh has a title and knows what it takes to win one. That kind of impact isn't slept on with young players.

The only way to fix it is to establish structure, land that transcendent player that simply won't tolerate that shyt, or get an impact vet to speed the process up. Sometimes that one trip to the playoffs makes all the difference. Ask Golden State.
