Yeah, if they added Bosh and were able to the 4th pick and added one of the few players that can contribute right away then you could make the argument, but nah...

They're ALL cheaper though...If you can get 2 or 3 pieces to make up for his productivity and avoid luxury taxes its not an awful idea..

actually been thinking bout this and the heat do need an improvement in the center position. bosh is alright but not dominant enough. what i would do is trade bosh and chalmers, yes chalmers. for a pg and pf/c combo. someone who rebounds well and a decent pg. don't know much bout contracts or salary space but how bout bosh and chalmers for rubio and love? or is there a better combo out there? love gets rebounds and can shoot from deep. rubio up and coming and has potential. only other combo i can think of is zbo and Tony Allen but i doubt Memphis giving up their franchise player. every other pg too elite for just a chalmers offer, ex. rondo, rose, paul, etc. gotta go for young pg and powerful big man. bosh and Chalmers for horford and teague?

Naw, not @ this point in their careers. Horford's a better mid-range shooter, and better rebounder right now.

you right. i sure wouldn't if i were them. i do think they have a decent core tho. with them two and Derrick Williams if he improves. maybe a few needs fixed during draft and i can see some improvement. wasn't love injured for most the season? i think if he stays healthy and everyone else, they can come close to competing for a playoff spot. or atleast be better than .500
you right. i will agree with you on that. his shot is good and i think his average did improve this year if I'm not mistaken. i think with the way the heat play that nobody plays their true position, it just works out for them anyways where their center can be shooting threes instead of posting up.
Then draft some big dude whose job is rebounding and put him at center, don't move the allstar PF for "pieces"
