Does the mining provide some sort of good/service? Or is the purpose of mining solely to get bitcoins? Perhaps I'm confused as fukk but it just seems like wasted energy...???

I think they use graphics cards cranked up to the max and do floating point calculations. I never really looked into it because I didn't take it seriously.
damn i was so happy about my PCG wins in november that i didn't even think bankruptcy would be in the cards. thought they would be around $20 a share while they sort out liability issues. coulda been a millionaire this morning. oh well. 
remember you can sell them at any point in between now and 1/17/20, you don't have to wait for it to expire.Bought 50 contracts, GE, January 17th, 2020, 20 dollar Call at .06 per

some hedge funds lost major money on PCG though because invested almost 2 billy in them collectively before the wildfire.

TLRY should have an interesting week. Lockup expires and insiders can sell. Short interest is super high. Peter Thiel (his company is the majority holder) says he holding onto their shares though.
