Hopefully a day like today will show younger investors why we are so bullish on big tech. FAANG stocks are literally the only thing green in a nightmare day. Barely green but green nonetheless. Even if they turn red to close the day they are holding up better than anything else.

Cuz that’s a disorganized semi-trash forum where threads go to die. They moved this thread to 6f6c when it first opened and I asked a mod to bring it back to HL. Pre-Covid this thread was 95% regular posters of HL so that’s why it stayed here.

One of my homies is telling me he is about to buy Royal Caribbean & American Airlines. Breh decides to start buying the some of the bleakest stock after 1-2 days of a selling in the markets. There's a chance he is right, but I think there will be a lot more selling of airlines/cruise ship stocks before this is all said and done.

Impossible to time the bottom. Those stocks were all way lower back in March. I don't think they'll get anywhere close to March levels. If he's serious about value stocks then he should average in.. usually investors do the 3 wave approach to averaging in.

What I mean is if you look at AAL just as an example. You can put $1000 in now. If it drops another 5%-10% put another $1000 in. etc.. average it out

I'm not big on airlines right this second so I'm just using that as an example.

The floor is the most enticing part of SPACs. I still do my DD of course because some of them can be scams but if it's a solid company and it's still near the floor, then it's like having a fukking cheat code
