If I switch brokerages from robinhood do I still have to keep a robinhood account for tax purposes? I have a bunch of longterm stuff in there and want to make sure I'm not creating any headaches for myself

you can transfer your positions to another brokerage, you don't have to liquidate and create a taxable event
