A lot industries are chalking shyt up to supply chain issues, related to China. A major vendor today, just put out a memo to expect shortages.....A lot of hiring freezes and layoffs going on with these tech companies. Just trying to stockpile cash or something more?
All things considered, things under the hood where I'm at, aren't down bad, but they're still not "doing better than last year", which is a calculated metric stakeholders look at.
I imagine many other industries are going through the same issues.
All I can say is, balance sheets, balance sheets, and balance sheets for right now.
I'm staying away from companies with too much debt and a negative free cash flow
