The $173 billion in U.S. energy junk bonds make up the biggest portion of the high-yield debt market after the Federal Reserve set low interest rates for years and pushed yield-starved investors toward riskier investments.

I think the HY bond market in the US is about $550 billion total. I'm not a 100% sure on that figure.

Man.... I bought right around $3.85. I was ready to straddle a $3 2017 contract when it was around $3.30 that day and then the possible acquisition interest news came, so I bought where I did, but just stayed safe with the 2017 contracts, thinking if no deal came, I wanted to hold long term.

So I bought 10 calls and 10 puts. Puts obviously will expire worthless.

Ending up with about $1600 for a week's work
