im just waiting to fukkin get back in the green so i can sell these mutual funds and dump most of it into an index fund
but if i just sold now at a loss and moved them into the index fund anyway, do i get to claim that as a loss on taxes? :jaylupe:

I think they offset you capital gains on your taxes as long as the wash rule doesn't apply. Wash rule says I think a 30 day window you can't repurchase that stock or you can't claim it as a loss.s & p is up a point and a half today
