What’s is snap’s position in SM? Company seems useless. IG, FB, LI, TT, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, discord, twitch all have a niche, but I don’t know what snap’s is - seems to overlap IG and TT for young millennials

Pretty fair assessment. I know they’re popular outside of the US in developing countries. Wouldn’t be surprised if they do something with all the facial data they’ve been harvesting from snap filters over the years

From what I remember reading (and it’s been awhile) Snap has a chokehold on the under 25 market.

The issue is that that demographic doesn’t spend and uses Snap mainly for messaging. They also got hit hard targeting changes Apple made, similar to FB.

All in all just a poor investment for your ad spend.
