The jaguar doesn’t go for the base of the neck because they being considerate of the prey and it’s suffering.

They go for that area because they are trying to paralyze the prey so it doesn’t flail around and injure them. Jaguars rarely attack straight on, they always try to attack from
behind. It’s the entire basis around the concept of projectile weapons which humans developed thousands of years ago. They want to kill prey with minimal risk of injury to themselves.

Thats the reason I put “humanely” in quotes if you can even call it that

i used to work as a cook at a 'fancy' restaurant here in tulsa called "the Summit"

its an exclusive dinner club located in the top two stories of the bank of america skyscraper downtown. its where all the rich shytbags come to eat and look down on everyone else like ants, i guess. food isnt even that good if you ask me, definitely not worth purchasing a membership...

i lasted about two weeks. i remember some of the kitchen cacs getting off on torturing the lobsters before they were to be boiled. they were sticking safety pins under his shell and twisting them to 'piss him off'. it was a game to them. they'd cut off its tail while it was alive and pour lemon juice and salt on it to watch it squirm. crush his claws with pliers. sick fukks

the only thing i liked about working there was closing up at night... all the guests are gone and its quiet. its dark outside but youre 40 floors up so looking out the window you can actually look into the other windows in other skyscrapers. shyt was beautiful
