On the nose.
I keep tellin' my people, Drake is one of the greatest actors of a generation. It's not even shade, but in the past 3 years he's been so many people I'm not sure who he actually is.
I feel the same way. One minute dude is a mafioso -- the next a lovelorn and misunderstood man trying to find love -- the next minute a pimp and womanizer, etc. And he's playing all these characters at once.
. Obviously, the human condition is highly complex and we are a variety of things at any given time. But, the difference between someone like Rick Ross and Drake is that Drake will on occasion break character (e.g., Fifa presentation), and Ross never will. So, we do from time to time get a vantage point of Drake's true personality, cadence, etc. And it's a stark comparison to his rap alter ego. However, I actually think Drake is second to Mr. Roberts in terms of acting ability in terms of rap.
Besides that being essentially fan-fiction...for one that's not even consistent with the main complaint that he's an unrepentant simp in his music...secondly, what is that even implying? Predominantly black urban areas now have the exclusive ownership to misogyny?
Are all suburbs utopian enclaves where universal fundamental societal issues (like misogyny) that have plagued damn near every culture worldwide for millennia don't exist? Or just the specific area of suburban Toronto where Drake grew up?
...its harmless though really,I haven't seen em do a 180...I've seen street rappers change they demeanor and have a change in attitude after the money, fame and excess more than I've noticed with Drake which is all natural....on wax dude seems pretty consistent to me unless I'm not listenin close enuff which is possible,I don't check for everything he do.
