Blacks with a slave legacy are not immigrants. They were stripped bare of any African existence. They're damn near as native as Native Americans. anglos got a chance to pick and choose what they wanted to keep from europe. A nation of immigrants. Ha!

Yo...he suggested trying out that website that quantified vocabularies.

I scored just under 13k. His was over 17k.

He is in media, but still...

Smart dude.

He wouldn't look Molly in the eye today though.

Bo is destined for more than just ESPN, he seems like a dude HBO will offer a show to, he's just too smart to be limited to sports only. He's by far the biggest young star on that network.
Listening to him talk he's clearly the most intelligent person on that network, it does kinda seem like he's wasting his time being there. And he knows it as well, you can tell that he's not even that into the sports themselves, he's just using it as a vehicle. He'll end up on a bigger platform pretty soon where he'll probably be able to talk more politics or general news than sports.

Bo mama is certified. You know he has been schooled on how to pull a clowns card when it comes to race.

Dude is the closest thing to Ralph Wiley from an intellectual stand point that shytty ass ESPN has had since the late Mr. Wiley passed away.

From the first time I heard Bomani on the morning Jones I knew dude was the most intelligent person in mainstream sports (which ain't saying much cause most are intellectually dishonest, racist and tap dancing c00ns). But Bomani is highly intelligent and could be a professor (he was in a PHD program at one time).

I know he enjoys being in sports.....but he could really be used in academia maybe at a HBCU like Howard or Morehouse (or any HBCU) or a established HWU.

Anyway I am not surprised by this. Dude parents are both professors who have taught at HBCUs (I think they were in the civil rights movement also), have taught in Nigeria and have backgrounds in black history.

So Bomani has been taught at a very young age about the game of racism. Seeing him on a show like first take doesn't even scrap the surface of dudes concept and view of race relations.

shyt both of his parents. Didn't know about how his dad was essentially fired from Southern due to pressure from the Louisiana governor back in the day. The school administration folded like cowards and had the nerve to give him an honorary doctorate years later. He said his dad never forgave them :wow:

Say what? Man good looking out I didn't know that. See you can see this is in Bomani DNA man. You know his parents have talked to him about the game and just understand how far you willing to go.

Remember how Dave chappelle talked about his dad told him draw a line in the sand and say whatever you do I am not gonna go beyond this to sell my soul. His dad also mentioned to him to have a back up plan in case these folks ever try to do you wrong you can tell them fukk off. This is why Dave got that farm in Ohio.

Great discussion. Bomani is right, these discussions are fukking pointless when it's only us doing all the talking.

Check this out homie. After the US invaded Iraqi a few players spoke out on it. One being Steve Nash with Dirk piggy backing on it saying he hates to see war and people dying.

So the Dallas media went full blast in them dudes. Cuban pulled them aside and the next day Nash and Dirk were like no comment and I don't have anything else to say.

The media being the bytch that they are tried to get some sound bites. So they go to nick van exel.....anyone who knows him...knows that he will back his teamates.

The media asks Nick how does he feel about Nash's and Dirk's comments. Nick looks at the camera and says....well those guys have every right to voice their opinion. This is America and we have freedom of speech.

Do you know the next night when the mavs played at home in Dallas the fans booed Nick Van Exel. Not Nash or Dirk who made the comments but Nick Van Exel.
