Bombing as a rapper you can at least convince yourself "damn, my lyrics are so deep they just standing there hanging on every word"

Comedy by far.

One of my friends is a comedian so I've been to a ton of shows. He's pretty famous and tours with DL Hughley. I'm sure you've seen his videos on the net. A lot of them go viral.

Anyways, a comedian bombing is one of the saddest things ever. If a comedian is bombing there's complete and utter silence or heckling. Also their sets tend to be longer. At least with a rapper bombing, it's music and the crowd can just tune it out, with comedy everyone is just sitting there and it's just awkward. You just completely feel bad for the guy on stage. Some audiences will flat out shyt on the comedian.

The nature of stand up is rough. You're literally sitting there with a microphone and a stood and are expected to talk, entertain, educate and provoke the crowd for 10 minutes to and hour and make them laugh. It's the only craft in which people have to REHEARSE IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE. You can rehearse music at home, you literally never know how a joke is going to play out until you've tested it in a comedy club. It's why you see Chris Rock, Dave Chappell or Kevin Hart randomly pop up at comedy clubs.

Rappers... I see comedians "bomb" a lot, but they rarely get booed off stage like some rappers
This. All comedians go through getting booed and not getting laughs so it is kinda like a rite of passage.

Aint no rappers really talking about getting Ja Rule'd when they hit the "Are we readyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" :francis:

Above the fray.
bombing as a rapper is worse

YOUR SONG IS WACK, people aren't feeling it

Comedy act, if it's good is always evolving, and bombing is necessary to cut out the weak material. It's part of working out new material.

To this day I don't fukk with the group Little Brother because of a print interview they did after bombing on stage.
Dude ACTUALLY said "the crowd was wrong for booing us, they should have applauded because make real hip hop"
No participation trophies for live performances, either you rocked the stage or you didn't.

wasn't impressed when I finally hear their album

Neck ties and boxing gloves.
Probably rappers due to fluidity.

Outside of freestyles, your material is static. So people flat out don't feel something that's more permanent.

With stand up comedy, that's how you work out what material works and what doesn't in order to refine it to be able to hopefully getting a special. Its part of the process.

Yo you touched on a lot shyt i was to drunk to say in OP. I wanted to do a bit. but just cant do it. I've rapped before and its so many nikkas on stage it the crowd gonna at least dissipate a lot of that heat if the crowd not feeling it.

Remember that guy who bombed his freestyle during that local news interview?

Yo this shyt hurt my soul :mjcry:

bytch sat there and let him bask in his failure before hitting him with the :usure: "you wanna read something out of your book?"

Bombing as a comedian may just means that a particular crowd may not be feeling your material which had worked with others. Ego still somewhat in tact. But as choking as a rapper means you couldn't even get your shyt out... That's gotta be worse.
