I think Ayton will make Jokic work defensively more then he did this past series and while he’s not gonna stop Jokic I think he’ll at least do ok enough on D to where Jokic isn’t gonna totally destroy them scoring every single game like he did against the Blazers and if that’s the case I don’t think Denver has the firepower to win.

I think Kenny explained how I felt about this Ayton matchup. Ayton should be able to take away some of what he did at the rim but from the perimeter Ayton won't be able to do anything.

The good news for Phoenix is that they have multiple big, long () defenders they can throw on Jokic to make him do different things. If Ayton doesnt work they can try Johnson or Bridges instead, all pose different challenges for Jokic.

They're getting a lot from Morris and Campazzo(though that could be a function of Portland's awful defense). It wouldn't shock me to see Denver in the Finals. MPJ has really stepped up to the plate.

Yeah, I think I would gamble Ayton keeping Joker at the perimeter as much as possible, even if he can hit those shots. It's the way he was pump faking and driving to the hoop at will, basically curtains for POR down the stretch. Just muscled through and at the very worst would kick it out.
