Suns in 6
Too bad they don't have Murray. The Nuggets will be unreal next year.

Ayton makes Jokic work.If you ask me, he's the perfect defender for Jokic.Joker can't bully him in the post, and Ayton's nimble enough to stick with him on the perimeter.Even if Jokic tries to face up and go ISO, it plays right into what Ayton does best as a defender.Ayton had the feet to stay in front of pg's.He's physically gifted in that way.His challenge is staying focused & playing with consistent effort. His mental can be shaky. If he's locked in, Jokic will have to earn every bucket.I've seen him make Jokic sweat in past match up's.I forgot the Nuggets had Aaron Gordon, tho.He used to kill the Suns when he was in Orlando. Not to the extent Jamal Murray normally kills the Suns, but he might be able to fill the void.He also does a nice job guarding Booker.I think this series is going to be a nail biter.Taking the Suns in 7, tho.I think Kenny explained how I felt about this Ayton matchup. Ayton should be able to take away some of what he did at the rim but from the perimeter Ayton won't be able to do anything.
The good news for Phoenix is that they have multiple big, long () defenders they can throw on Jokic to make him do different things. If Ayton doesnt work they can try Johnson or Bridges instead, all pose different challenges for Jokic.
having CP3 has helped their composure. Before the playoffs, I thought Phoenix would lose to the first really good team they faced. They reminded me of the nuggets from 2 years ago - really young and talented, but most of the roster has zero playoff experience.
But they looked pretty poised in round 1, so we’ll see
They are also a well coached team. Monty got them playing hard and believing in themselves.having CP3 has helped their composure.
Plus you gotta give credit to the skill and mentality of Booker, ayton, etc
They need him..They missed him in the bubble last seasonBarton might be back this series![]()
