It’s gonna be a fun series. I think the Suns are just more balanced so they should have the edge. But you never know because this Nuggets squad is so young yet so battle tested now. You could really see it how they picked apart the Blazers in that final game. The Nuggs really got next out there in the west.

With Murray neither the Jazz, Clipps or Suns would be fukking with them..

Dame vs Jokic was sick. Let’s see if Book will bring the same heat...he belongs in the top 10 convo so it’s dope seeing him finally getting that stage ala Kyrie back in 15.

I think Kenny explained how I felt about this Ayton matchup. Ayton should be able to take away some of what he did at the rim but from the perimeter Ayton won't be able to do anything.

The good news for Phoenix is that they have multiple big, long (:dame:) defenders they can throw on Jokic to make him do different things. If Ayton doesnt work they can try Johnson or Bridges instead, all pose different challenges for Jokic.
Ayton makes Jokic work.If you ask me, he's the perfect defender for Jokic.Joker can't bully him in the post, and Ayton's nimble enough to stick with him on the perimeter.Even if Jokic tries to face up and go ISO, it plays right into what Ayton does best as a defender.Ayton had the feet to stay in front of pg's.He's physically gifted in that way.His challenge is staying focused & playing with consistent effort. His mental can be shaky. If he's locked in, Jokic will have to earn every bucket.I've seen him make Jokic sweat in past match up's.I forgot the Nuggets had Aaron Gordon, tho.He used to kill the Suns when he was in Orlando. Not to the extent Jamal Murray normally kills the Suns, but he might be able to fill the void.He also does a nice job guarding Booker.I think this series is going to be a nail biter.Taking the Suns in 7, tho.

Damn.. suns in 6 :yeshrug:

Ayton is definitely gonna get caught in foul trouble this series tryna deal with Jokic.

Booker gonna get his.

Before the playoffs, I thought Phoenix would lose to the first really good team they faced. They reminded me of the nuggets from 2 years ago - really young and talented, but most of the roster has zero playoff experience.

But they looked pretty poised in round 1, so we’ll see
having CP3 has helped their composure.

Plus you gotta give credit to the skill and mentality of Booker, ayton, etc

Suns in 5. Paul and Booker are gonna take smarter shots and not shoot themselves out the game. I also think they will defend better. Ayton is not Nurkic. He's gonna make Jokic work and also defend on the other end. You ever notice how Jokic doesn't get tired at the end of games? it's becasue he controls the tempo, dicates the pace. You have to make him make faster decisions. Make him score the ball quicker than he wants to.

Keys to this series. Suns win if
1. Ayton can defend Jokic without fouling
2. Cp3 can give you at least 20 min a game making timely decisions.
