We'll see. It's worth pointing out McConnell did not want this guy nominated. Trump picked him on his own. The concern McConnell had was the documents and the shady process that led to all this. It's certainly possible that McConnell simply lets this dude drown so he can get his own non-controversial suggestion confirmed quickly.

I think it's very clear that this dude has been selected because he will rule in Trump's favor in any pardon or criminal issue regarding the Mueller investigation.
If McConnell really cared, they'd bury Kavanaugh to get whoever they actually want. At the end of the day, turtle and the rest of that treasonous party will take anyone as long as they're Republican.

I've had my share of complaints about Booker in the past but this dude sincerely put his foot down at a time when I'm just expecting the Dems to play safe because they always do. Leadership shoulda put their footdown with the shutdown/DACA ish, but they took cover and they've done so repeatedly. Booker just took a risk (because Idk that this Democratic party has the guts or unity to have his back) and I respect that. We need to celebrate the hell out of this and show support to encourage more of it from the rest of these cowards....mainly Schumer...he's awful.

Soooo what’s the big takeaway from all this??? Did the released information contain anything?

Also is he really risking his career since the republicans don’t have the votes?

They didn't want those problems. They removed the committee confidential flag. Funny how Booker said "fukk this shyt" and *everybody* on the dem side fell in line. "Yeah, me too!" :ooh:

Literally the last day before they decided to challenge that bullshyt rule the Republicans came up with. The Senate legitimately does need new democractic party leadership. I like Leahy, but he's old as dirt starting to sound like your mumbling grandpa.

Unless I'm misreading the argument, Kavanaugh seems to be arguing in favor of race-neutral security measures post 9/11, not racial profiling.

How does he come out badly in all of this? Without more context, I'm not seeing anything especially harmful in these e-mails.
this

I hate when dems do this. The same thing happened with Maddow and the Trump tax returns and stormy daniels on 60 minutes..

We need something TRULY DAMNING. This just comes off as nothing. Kinda disappointing.

Lowkey dems look kinda like hypocrites demanding transparency here. Gotta keep that same energy

That’s not all he said

At the bottom, he said if racial profiling is effective, then perhaps they should sometimes use it

Not damning for white Americans but damning enough for me
