Just finished reading The Godfather by Mario Puzo. It's been a minute since I've watched the movie and since reading the book I've had the urge to marathon the trilogy and play the new Mafia game 😄
The book is definitely a page turner and is just as enjoyable as the movie but I don't know if I would consider it a classic like I would the movie, however
The Sicilian is probably one of my favorite books. Definitely read it.

I kind of like the last don too.

It's a shame the Sicilian never got a proper American release, and honestly an adaptation of the last don wouldn't have been horrible.

I finally finished razorblade tears. I read the first 200 pages. Then I stopped.

I was torn because I'm not into a lot of the themes that are in razorblade tears, but then again I was hooked and I didn't want it to end, and I wanted to finish it so I know what happens and whether I could write it off.

It was good. I'm glad I finished it. A little cliche at times but dudes a decent writer.

Assasin's Blade the first book from Throne of Glass series.

Almost done. It's ok. The world building is well done. Characters are pretty generic as far as fantasy stories go and the story is also just okay. Not sure I want to invest more time reading the rest of the series.

Is it violent? Graphic?

WTF!!! This book just got real after all them boring ass chapters we finally get Reaper vs Fà bytch ass. Damn shame he is as big and strong as he is and still being a slave to a fukking GOLD!!! Atlas bytch ass at that. I wonder when Atlantia will show up again. Read 8 chapters tonight 65-72. Tryna finish this book by Sunday. It's hard to read books and paint without feeling mentally exhausted, but shyt I done read all Pierce Brown's saga since January 2025 and finally am so close to finishing this. Iron Gold was the longest and biggest book I ever fukking read. I may not get to 12 books this year, but we shall see. I have shorter books to read. I believe reading 12 books a year is pretty good as most adults dont even read 1 book in a year.
. How do y'all Brehs power through reading? I'm aiming for a book a month. How the fukk do y'all read so many books? Every night I dedicate myself to 5 chapters minimum and if the chapters are short I read more chapters.

Help a breh out so I can get to 24 books in 2026 :wow:
