Its a shame when we as Black folks get things like these we either drop the ball or do not go into it hard enough. Aaron should have just been like South Park and kept on releasing multiple episodes every year that address pop culture and society to see if it ignites a change. Particularly with Obama and drug war.

Lol I love Adult Swim's marketing. Whomever thought of that talking to the viewer with the black screen thing deserves a promotion if they haven't already gotten it years ago.

shyt would have gotten watered down if he went the South Park route. I hate waiting so long, but I think I appreciate it much more because of it. Can't tell you the last time I watched South Park, but I'm eagerly anticipating Season 4 of The Boondocks.

LOL OK... I'm saying why are you bringing black people into this? It's not our fault that we aren't getting more Boondocks. It's the way business is run at Cartoon Network. The Boondocks audience is mostly white people anyway.

Cosign. No excuse for 45 episodes in 8 years when you shows on the same network like Robot Chicken with 143 episodes in the same time period. The animation takes time excuse doesn't hold water. There are plenty of episodes that would have written themselves during the Obama Administration that Boondocks has totally ignored. I understand McGruder wants total control over his product but dude blew it with the way he's handled this. He could have easily hired a staff of writers in his same mindset to come up with random stories to carry the show though the years like South Park / Family Guy. Every episode doesn't have to have some spiritual meaning with black folks. Some of us just like seeing those characters in regular situations without it having to change the world somehow...

Robot chicken is like 10 minutes though, and the majority of the episodes really have no story...just random ass skits.

I rather he have control and release what he wants than just release episodes for the fukk of it.

45 good - great episodes >> staying on air just because

shyt look at the simpsons...that shyt needs to die...they're almost 600 deep and most episodes are mediocre at best....and I'm a big fan but even I know they're just cashing in at this point...they don't give a fukk.
