And yeah, that bytch ass white boy has been dropping music consistently since 2009. But of course, he managed to stay relevant this long because of how soft mothafukkas have gotten these days.

Lmao at this dude patrick...
Like Common said, Kendrick got at the very least 4 classics, Drake got 0. You personnally enjoy his albums a lot? good for you, still doesn't make them good.

Kendrick is a true artist, one of the best there is, he's a lot more musically talented than Drake, more versatile, and much better catalog. It's not even an opniion, it's a fact the vast majority of experts, music lovers, connaisseurs, goat musicians and critics will agree on.

Do never, ever, compare Drake to Kendrick again...you're just displaying your lack of musical knowledge

Actually it's the Drake stans on here (and Drake and Mal and AK) claiming that 'Not Like Us' is bots only...

Meanwhile... in real life...

Every concert
BBQ
Sporting event
Club
car driving down the street

"They not like us
They not like us
They not like us 🎶 "

The song is still #3 in the world 9 weeks after release lol...

If anyone is delusional.... it's Drake stans.

Also in the real world? "Damn." and "Good Kid M.A.A.D. City" have been outselling Drake's latest project every week going on months now...

"Bu bu a couple NBA rookies said...." :mjlol:

That’s one summer

Drake has been doing this every summer for the past 10 years :mjlol:

You actually proving my point. Drake music been the cookout music for the past decade

We been wanting Kendrick to make these kinds of records but he simply doesn’t. Hopefully the next batch of records on the project he releasing has more slaps we can dance and vibe to :francis:

Knew it was posted by akademiks, there's the same videos with Kendrick winning by a lot but he don't post them :mjlol:

Anyway, of course kendrick is more talented and makes better music, objectively it's hard to deny. With that being said, I still love some of Drake music, they're my guilty pleasure even though I know Kendrick is better and makes better stuff. Sometimes he does make music that aint for me though.

Drake will never be able to make a true masterpiece like TPAB, but kendrick is indeed totally capable of making Drake's type of music.

If you have been to a Black cookout, family reunion, graduation party, kick back, HBCU Homecoming, strip club or hookah spot at any time in the past decade and say u didn't hear several Drake songs... You're just lying.

Kendrick as a man is clearly more culturally Black. But don't let the Anthony Fantano's and internet snobs misrepresent reality. The music has dominated urban radio and spaces since the first Obama term.

There are Drake songs that I know the words to that I don't even like. It's just a result of being "outside" for a decade.
This.

Kendrick's way better to me and I greatly prefer his music but anyone saying that Drake wasn't/isn't getting bumped at Black functions especially compared to Kendrick is lying.

But that's not really Kendrick's lane either. Drake specializes in making moody R&B, hype/trap music, and club/radio friendly music that has more mass appeal than Kendrick's. When Back To Back came out, people were playing it at parties/functions and quoting every bar from it just like Not Like Us even though Not Like Us is a huger song overall.

Kendrick Stans been moving a lot like Nas Stans lately, insecure and loud as fukk. Dudes sending death threats to KD for going to a party at his house :mjlol:

With that being said, Drake is a bigger pop star, pop music attracts airheads and you by athletes are on average clout chasing airheads… so the result is not exactly surprising. It would be different if you ask random NBA players (different age groups), but then again. Many would pick Drake cause he’s their man and an NBA guy. While Kendrick keeps to himself unless it’s some marketing campaign.

Yet no one listens to them :manny:

are they really classics
Yet he has the longest chartin studio album in hip hop history, the highest rated rap album ever that is often considered as a top 5 album in music history (all genres), had the best selling hip hop tour as a solo artist with his last album

Seems like people listen to his classics :manny:
Only artist since Outkast/Kanye to combine massive acclaim AND critical acclaim and commercial success :manny:

Drake never been able to do that...and he sure wasn't able to do that on his own.
Don't get it confused...project for project, Kendrick outsold Drake a bunch of times. Drake only gets more "views" in general on his account because he got 1 billion songs in his catalog...But Kendrick is slowly catching up despite having 10 times less songs available.

:manny:
