the movie is a classic, but i think it goes thru the effect that pioneers of anything go through where their successors did what they did but better(or people think they did it better) Thus making them look "overrated"

I never got the whole premise of robbing old man quilez to get respect. I thought the DJ parts were poorly done for the most part. It's still a classic but they could've done better.
