brady's down to nothing wr-wise, but that was always the narrative, that you could pull guys off the street and it would be all good. what's changed now that all the sudden we have to :cape: and talk about him not having weapons?

All the plays he made for Brady and ya'll keep posting this one?

That play was the difference between winning and losing the SB so of course people are gonna talk about it forever....and he should've caught it. If he did its not like people would be talking about it on the same level as the Tyree catch or something....shyt was easily catchable for him.

Welker still a bauce tho

So Welker is supposed to run a precise route, get open running full speed, stop instantly turn around, and jump 2 foot in the air to get a ball thrown to his back shoulder.....:beli:

That shyt would have flew straight over 90% of other receivers head and said fukk trying to turn around when any other reicever would've know they have a wide open TD, Welker being aware as he is tried and almost made that catch. That throw is a easy touchdown, if Brady had any accuracy throwing deep. Let that been any other QB and they would have got beaten from pillar to post........

Except for, you know, the whole 3 Superbowls that Brady won before Welker got there.
Its easy winning superbowls and having game winning drives when you know exactly what your opponent is gonna call, what is so hard for Pats fans to understand this

Nothing more than the hubris of his coach bitting him in the ass. There is no good reason why Welker is not on this team right now...none. This guy has the most receptions in the L over the last 6 years and is your QBs safety blanket and you let him walk for $6 mil a season? :what: I could see if he was looking for Megatron money but he wasn't looking for anywhere near that. Beli bought into his own hype and it ended up not only costing his team but helping a conference foe.

On a side note :laff:/:scusthov:/:comeon:/:rudy: at nikkas still coppin pleas for Brady on that SB play. It was a bad throw. It was catchable but it would have been a hell of a catch. Brady made it harder than it had to be. The GOAT Mr. Clutch Cool Doesn't Make Mistakes should be expected to deliver a better ball in that spot. But instead nikkas expect Welker's 5'9, slot recieving ass to suddenly turn into Brandon Marshall or AJ Green in order to bail Brady out. :russ:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Only 1 TD in last 3 games and that 1 was because of a total meltdown by the Saints. This was after he threw TDs in 52 straight games. :gag:

Brady having his worst season since 2006, which was the year before Welker went to NE. :ohhh:

Just saying :manny:

Meanwhile, Welker in Denver helping the GOAT turn in his GOAT season :whew:

It's not that he doesn't have Welker, it's just that he doesn't have Amendola either. If he was getting 16 (or even 12) healthy games out of Amendola, this is a different subject.

Regardless, the Patriots schedule is pretty much cake the rest of the way, and they should still be able to go 12-4.

Do you remember 2006 or not? That year where his corps got so bad it inclined the front office to pursue Moss, Welker, and Stallworth amongst others.

Brady was never known for putting up godly numbers with crap talent. He won football games with lesser talent....something he's doing now. They're 5-2 not 2-5 and that's with major shakeup in his corps.

The narrative was: given the offensive talent Peyton's been afforded practically his whole career, he'd beast like Peyton. And he's shown us this is true.
