Do you remember 2006 or not? That year where his corps got so bad it inclined the front office to pursue Moss, Welker, and Stallworth amongst others.

Brady was never known for putting up godly numbers with crap talent. He won football games with lesser talent....something he's doing now. They're 5-2 not 2-5 and that's with major shakeup in his corps.

The narrative was: given the offensive talent Peyton's been afforded practically his whole career, he'd beast like Peyton. And he's shown us this is true.

but he hasn't won SB's with it, which is what every manning basher brings up to knock him.

That was a big play. Welker would have a ring and Brady would have his 4th right now if that catch had been made.

One play can define a career.

Gary Anderson was a great kicker. But, he'll always be remembered for missing that kick against the Falcons in the NFC Championship in 1998. He hadn't missed a FG that entire season!

Those 1998 Vikings, brehs! Young Moss.

Why do you gotta do that to me:to:

Oh, so now you're changing the argument. :patrice:

No need to bash Peyton, he's great, no one denies that, we just say Brady's better....things slip to offensive remarks from there, but his greatness is still recognized. It's the Brady bashers that tried to act like Brady
isn't a great QB. They've had to eat that crow years ago, tho they'd rather forget it.

The narrative was that Brady won SBs with average recievers while Manning got bounced early every year and came up short with top talent around him. Once Brady did get top talent around him and starting coming up short in the playoffs with regularity the focus somehow shifted to regular season numbers/success and just being in it each year. :heh: The team is 5-2 right now because of the defense not Brady's pre-merger stats.

Why doesnt Brady turn random receivers into stars like Peyton? Who was fearing Julius Thomas, Decker, Blair White, Jaccob Tamme, Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon, without Manning?

Why does Tom need good receivers handed to him on a silver platter to be good? why doesnt he make nobodies household names? :patrice:

Nothing more than the hubris of his coach bitting him in the ass. There is no good reason why Welker is not on this team right now...none. This guy has the most receptions in the L over the last 6 years and is your QBs safety blanket and you let him walk for $6 mil a season? :what: I could see if he was looking for Megatron money but he wasn't looking for anywhere near that. Beli bought into his own hype and it ended up not only costing his team but helping a conference foe.

On a side note :laff:/:scusthov:/:comeon:/:rudy: at nikkas still coppin pleas for Brady on that SB play. It was a bad throw. It was catchable but it would have been a hell of a catch. Brady made it harder than it had to be. The GOAT Mr. Clutch Cool Doesn't Make Mistakes should be expected to deliver a better ball in that spot. But instead nikkas expect Welker's 5'9, slot recieving ass to suddenly turn into Brandon Marshall or AJ Green in order to bail Brady out. :russ:

Brady ain't GOAT though:dwillhuh:. That's Super Joe:blessed:

But the level of standard ya'll have for Brady is beyond ridiculous:facepalm:

Nikka's been to 5 SBs, 7 AFC championship games, been clutch, lit it up statistically, yet ya'll make it sound like he's Trent Dilfer:snoop:

No one's perfect brehs. He ain't gonna win every single game and make every single throw perfect. But the level of insecurity by Peyton stans to go out of there way to make Brady sound ordinary is:mindblown:

def not insecurity, manning fans (myself among them) just want brady held to that same standard. every since brady has has these great offensive seasons, it has amounted to postseason disappointment - the common manning narrative. people talk about what if brady had peytons recievers, but I'd like to see peyton with brady's sb defenses :ohhh:

both are great, glad to see them in my lifetime - they deserve smiles on here tbh

I just call how I see it...ain't no "ya'll" this way. nikkas need to stop tryna make this nikka out to be some martyr. He gets way more love for all that shyt that you mentioned than hate. He's one of the more fellated athletes of this millenium and unlike his peers (save Jeter) he has taken very little criticism. Peyton actually takes more shyt than he does. If that was Peyton the same people coping pleas for Brady would shytting on Peyton and saying "he shoulda made a better throw" and "the moment was to big" and "he didn't get it done" and everything else people have said about Peyton over the years. It was a bad throw, period. Cats acting like Welker dropped a perfectly thrown pass...it was catchable but it was far from a good pass on Brady's part. At the very least that was a mutual fukk up.
