the owners know what they are doing. Increasing the minimum salary which the majority of players make was genius in the last CBA. Of course the voting majority are gonna vote for that and the owners knew this.

that's why you gotta have a union truly united and dedicated to the cause. NBA fought for the right for bums to be able to have guaranteed deals. Are most NFL players willing to do that, NO.

Basically the NBA black stars (Chris Paul,LeBron ect)... run the Players Union and is the reason why they get Guaranteed money

NFL Stars are the White QBs (Tom Brady, Brees) are not involved in the union bc they get their money and not worried about the others...*sidenote* they felt betrayed by Drew Brees back in 2011. Instead the NFL players that are involved in Union talks are longsnappers n kickers not the Stars.

i mean nba players are playing 80-110 games a season compared to 16-20 in the nfl. not sure how much more money nfl nikkas want/think they're worth playing that few games (yes i know it's brutal on the body), but they should be focusing on getting guaranteed contracts and not just the contract value.
