MJ got rejected so viciously by Milwaukee (Herb Kohl), Hornets/Pelicans (George Shinn) and Wizards (Polin) after the teams were up for sale it made you realize that ownership is the ultimate white sphere. It's almost like he got too close to the sun.
We see that in corporate boards and other positions of leadership in every aspects of US society.
Obama, MJ and Oprah are basically tokens, completely unrepresentative of the reality of white power dominance.

Also when folks always bring up Oprah, MJ and Jay, all of these people got their money from entertaining white folks. Yea, they got some black dollars too, but they/are were essentially employed by rich Jews. MJ was employed by Stern/Reinsdorf, Jay by Doug Morris, Oprah by CBS. Every last one of them. Not only is there race, but there is also class. The entertainers had bosses who had bosses, those are the billionaires that own teams. Them entertainment negroes bosses aint letting them into the club without a fight because its a difference between old money and new money. Oprah, Mj, and Jay's Jew bosses could turn the lights off if they wanted to.

But did jordan make his overall investment back even with the debt. he damn near makes billions off of jordan sales alone.. I assume he made the money back...

Charlotte still ranks 23/30 in home attendance...and are one of the least desired teams to see on the road.

If Jordan somehow figured out how to get rid of a $150 M debt in less than 5 years as being majority owner...we'd have heard about it....and never heard the end of it.

MJ looked real bad, especially after getting publicly humiliated like a bum by Abe Pollin in Washington.
Bob Johnson lost half in his nasty divorce (his ex-wife even married the judge shortly after it was finalized). Dude had issues and the Bobcats were horrible. But he didn't realize that owning a pro team is like sitting on a gold mine... Now the Bobcats are worth twice as much as in 2007.
Basically, it was a panic sale and MJ took advantage of it... Still, it's amazing that's what it took for MJ to finally get a team

It's not that he didn't realize owning a pro team was this valuable asset... why else do you think he owned one?

Bob Johnsons money was not long enough to sustain the losses the Bobcats were taking and the L of divorce to hold on til they made a profit.
