Thing is, Freeman will eventually get it going. He’s too good of a hitter not to. Rosario has been great the entire time he’s been here. That was a great move by AA. Riley is doing what a cleanup hitter is supposed to do, and he’s hitting for power and average. I’m excited to see him continue to grow.
This pitching staff has been good. They have been clutch; especially the bullpen. I won’t speak on Smith, because I don’t want to jinx it, but the middle relievers have come in and pretty much shut teams down when needed. We’ve got it set up good, too, with Morton going tomorrow and Fried and Anderson for games 5 and 6 if necessary. If it goes 7, there’s no one I’d rather have than Morton on the mound.
