I just think that we should reserve respect for women who deserve it :manny:

I agree. But not everyone does this. They just use the 'bytch' or 'thot' label to refer to all women even the genuinely good ones who don't deserve that label. I personally know people who casually call their own mother a bytch.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Hey man, I appreciate you taking the time to write your post and show us some pictures. But I wonder....do you have to talk like this? Can't you leave the misogyny behind in America? Alot of the women in Brazil (particularly outside the major cities) have had a religious upbringing and some are genuinely good people. I don't think they'd appreciate being called 'bytch' or 'ho'. That kind of talk should be reserved for American women. Last thing we should be doing is spreading American ignorance to other countries.
So you want me to start breaking down whether or not I say bytch or not, based on nationality??

And you want me to not call them bytches cause of religious upbringing??

And yet these WOMEN are out fukking strange men from across the world, first night they meet them, and running around the house butt naked, letting people take video and pics of them...

And I'm supposed to not call them bytch. On the Internet. From America. Because of what again?

I know but why can't he just say 'lady' or 'woman'. I'm not saying put these women up on a pedestal or worship the ground they walk on. Just.....why can't you talk to them like they're human beings?
They are human beings. So are the nikkas I call nikkas. So are the white people we call cacs. As with the bed wenches, fags, a$$holes, retards and every other word we use

Seems to me you trying to single out one type of human. And only that type of human that happens to a female in Brazil. If you made a statement like "don't call women bytches" then I might have agreed

Only call American women bytches cause brazil women have religion :comeon::camby:

3 trips.. i was only on 1.. not a single nikka or whiteboy there spoke a lick of english.. meanwhile had bytches at the club, bytches at the cribs, bytches cooking meals, bytches staying the night, bytches like "when you coming back"

what's the difference in a translator book and a translater app?? absolutely nothing

EDIT: and another thing... people need to stop being so shook.. we walked through favelas day and night.. like any hood in the world, as long as you ain't acting a fool or acting p*ssy, people don't fukk with you

Props on the pics and looks like you had a great trip. Regarding the bolded tho make no mistake about it, you and your boys had two things going for you ; your blackness and you're all pretty well built, ya'll can likely walk on any Martin Luther and wont look like a meal to the locals. 9 times out of 10 I agree if you use common sense you wont have no problems but dont feed this general idea to the public that shyts all sweet and they dont get busy in the favelas :usure: coli posters gon be walking to the top of the favelas smartphone in hand getting tied up by the young boys running with the machine guns and snipers cause Venem told em they could do it

I am going to be in Salvador the week before Carnaval leading up to the Feb 13th then I head to Rio until a lil after carnaval is over.

I think choosing between the cities depends on your tastes. It might be easier/cheaper to find accommodation this late in Rio vs Salvador though. You can use homeaway.com for apartments, or ibis hotel in Rio vermelho. That hotel had accommodation not too long ago and it wasn't that expensive. Monte Pascal (either in Barra or ondina not sure which neighboorhood its in) had accommodation as of last week as well (all of these are in Salvador)
