Volcanoes are a different level of heat and fumes. It's not really fair to compare the two.They have equipment to withstand much of the heat and fumes... local firefighters are equipped with stuff fighting fires...if her body gone then it cant be helped.
They recovered the body today, so it's all a moot point.
RIP. Wasnt there a mythology story which started with some woman becoming a goddess after falling into a volcano? I might be wrong. Hate to say this but if that volcano erupted while she was there alive, she would have been a modern day version of that.

Man I been rafting so much with a gang of folks who can’t swim. They make everyone wear a big ass life jacket anyway so they good.
Most of the people I went out on jet skis with couldn’t swim either.
i know this is a tangent but life jackets in open water are peak fake safety

She died after falling into a huge volcano. Now her family insist dark forces were at work... and reveal why she should still be alive
'We received, with great concern and apprehension, information that the rescue team took food, water and warm clothing to Juliana,' her sister, Mariana, had said.
'This is not true. The information we have is that so far they have not been able to reach her, because the rescue ropes were not long enough, in addition to the low visibility.
'All the videos that were made are lies, including the one of the rescue arriving at her. The video was forged to look like that, along with this message associated with it.
'We even celebrated. It was a shock to find out that it was a lie.'
Juliana's loved ones also slammed the lack of communication between Indonesian and Brazilian authorities.
Her father, Manoel Marins, told Brazil's TV Globo on Sunday that the South American nation's embassy was slow in providing information.
'We don't know where she is. The authorities haven't reached her,' he said before boarding a flight to Indonesia to aid in recovery efforts.
'She hasn't received water, she hasn't received food. She's been alone for more than 36 hours and it seems like they don't even know where she is now.'
