Have you ever had a fast food job or worked in retail? It seems pretty obvious that you haven't. They're not going to give their employees full time hours because that means they gotta pay for their health insurance. Only shift managers, assistant managers and managers are getting those full time hours. If you're working one of these jobs you can pretty much expect 15-25 hours a week.

My first job was Jack in The Box in at age 15, in 2003-2004
$6.25/hr min wage in California (same jack in the box is now triple that per hour)

then I worked at CompUSA then Mervyns (both bankrupt and gone). For min wage.

I was also going to Heald College ( ) / Trade Full time during this part.

then I worked at Champs Sports and part time at a gold grill making place when I was off at Champs (opening sales person at Champs then drove to gold grill place). Both min wage.

then 2008, with this resume, at age 21, i got hired at AT&T making $60k / year. And from there kept growing til now where I spend more than $60k a year on vegas trips

Alot of people already live with family and friends cuz of high rent prices. Once the pandemic hit and people stayed home for a couple months quitting your job wasn't so scary. It's like a extended vacation they can always find another dead end job later on if there new plans don't work out

This is the first time since Reagan's swearing in back in 1981 that workers have had this much power.
I applaud all the cats out there flexing their collective muscles, it takes balls to step out
into the unknown. Something had to give, and the time is now to drive significant wage increases
in every industy.

For christ sake, tipped restaurant workers haven't gotten a min. wage increase since 1992,
