I'm afraid to read the posts in here considering its gone 10 pages. Probably a ton of folks in here happy to see a black news outlet's failure. Then they quote Charleston White like its gospel.

Sorry to hear that @portcityplaya they were doing some interesting stuff. As someone that works in an all Black environment I know the kinda joy that brings so I hate to see that joy lost for so many. I’d really love to see someone Black clean things up and I think with the right investment group it’s possible.
But it’s extremely critical to have the right people in place when doing a venture like this so PCP story makes sense. Also, I think it was kinda dumb to pick FAMU when you got Howard in DC or the AUC in ATL which are better hubs for a news network. It seems like they had some funds so they could’ve set up a more humble thing in one of those cities and did a slow holistic build.
We need as much Black centered news media as possible. It’s critical to developing and cultivating more robust discourse within the community. Depending on trash like the CNN’s and msnbc’s of the world is a fool’s errand if you Black imo.
