Between this and Coates, I'm glad people are publicly nuking the idea that this guy was just a young republican who liked lower taxes. He held multiple positions that the average person would cringe at. And he was clearly a racist. And a sexist. And hated Muslims. etc.

The thing is, almost everyone knows that this guy was a bigot. Certainly anybody that cares enough to be upset over his death. He didn't really hide it.

There are just a ton of people playing dumb because they are also racist (and agree with the things he said) but don't want to admit it, or because they're on their MAGA grift and don't care.

I'm highly disappointed that mainstream media outlets like NBC news, MSNBC, and basically all the others that aren't fox aren't detailing how big a pos Kirk actually was. Plenty of vids out there for them to use to showcase exactly who he was and what he believed so the uninformed can get a very clear picture of Kirk.

It's journalistic malpractice to let him off the hook for muddying up the sociopolitical discourse not only in the US but around the world, and not show what he was saying and doing. You want to call him a "Conservative activist"...well show us his speeches and quotes like every other activists throughout history. Why won't they? well cause they know if people saw who Kirk actually was, the amount of care about him would plummet to zero amongst everyone other than racist whites and wannabe whites.

Coates summed it up best saying that "for a man they are trying to praise, they won't even use his own words in their article"
