I don't get the Marc Gasol fascination. He's a good player, but don't tell me he's in your top-5 MVP candidates when he doesn't even average 8 rebounds as a 7'1" 265 pound center. :rudy:

Having him over Duncan is absolutely blasphemous.

Not saying he's a top 5 MVP candidate but do you know why he doesn't average a lot of rebounds?

Having Gasol over Duncan isn't blasphemous at all. He definitely has a valid case to be ranked ahead of him.

your logic is...

Lebron is so great, so he deserves it, and every one else cant compare so they dont....

makes no fukking sense

:snoop:

How the fukk does that NOT make sense? :shaq2:

No case can be made to have Gasol over Duncan. There is nothing he's done better than Duncan this season except pass the ball. That's it.

Why do folk constantly talk about other teams that they don't watch :why:
are you going to say his defense ranks him above Tim Duncan ? And zbo keeps him from averaging 10 boards ?
:snoop:

I think the point these other guys are saying is most valuable and best player aren't mutually exclusive . What gave Nash his Mvps?? Was it that he was the best player or had the most value to his teams success ?? They need to make a a criteria for the award , same with coach of the year . Should they give it to the team with the best record ? Or most surprising team ? How do you judge best coaching ? Best record ? Most suprising team ?

Are you going to blatantly lie and say you've been watching Memphis this season?

I'm asking you a question I don't watch Memphis unlike the thunder :comeon: if I was saying that's why he did those things then I would just say it. Who are you to lie too :heh: your acting like I'm going around saying I watch every team mr nba expert .

And I think the point that everyone else is trying to make is that when it comes to LeBron James he is both.

When NBA posted the most recent MVP Ladder i was like what the fukk nikka.

Because the week before they said " LeBron has overlapped everybody in this MVP Race " and then they go and put him 3rd? Regardless of any 'injury' or resting period. He had already "overlapped" the competition...

Reminds me of the Tyson Chandler thing.

" Defensive player of the year: Tyson Chandler "

All NBA Defensive 2nd team at center was Tyson Chandler

Now these are just rants and my view on things... yall aint gotta read shyt :mjpls:

:what:

You don't watch the Thunder either.

He's had more defensive impact than Duncan this season and he's had close to his offensive impact as well. It isn't blasphemous like dude claimed it was, he legitimately has a case to be ranked ahead of Duncan in the standings - whether it's a definitive case or not is another thing. Duncan sharing MVP votes with Parker, also weighs in Gasol's favor.

Well this year I agree but if people wanted to reach they could say someone else . Jordan didn't get it every year , Shaq either . We saw the heat without Bron and wade beat the spurs and other games :manny:
