To add to what everyone else said, Iron Dome is mostly designed for simple rocket artillery that doesn’t maneuver mid-flight, like what comes from Al-Qassam/PIJ and most of what comes from Hezbollah. They have the Arrow system to intercept more advanced missile systems but clearly Iranian missiles are faster and too maneuverable for it.

Israel has a lot fewer airbases and interceptors for the airbases than Iran has missiles. Iran’s missiles are also spread throughout the country so they can’t get knocked out in a handful of strikes. If Israel tries that shyt on Iran, Israel won’t have any airbases left.

Same thing happened when they bombed the American Airbase because we killed one of their commanders..No Americans died and Iran got to say they responded as to not lose face..

EXACTLY. We had warning 6 hours before that attack. That attack was with satellite guided smart bombs. If they wanted us, they had us. They got close but didn’t kill anybody.

Why is that? Why didn’t we respond? That’s “probably” a “sanctioned” hit.

Am I saying this strike was sanctioned by Israel/USA?
Who knows, but it wouldn’t surprise me. And that not on no spook conspiracy theory. It’s the way war works now.

If Iran wanted to destroy Israel or deal a deadly attack, they can do it. The reason why they wouldn’t is because they know they would get blown off the face of the earth. Is it worth it to the monarchy to destroy Israel at your own destruction? Nope.

Self preservation is the most basic animal instinct. That’s the scariest thing about religious radicals. They lack preservation because they are headed to heaven and virgins. But self preservation applies to actual countries. That’s why there are so many proxy wars. The State of Iran doesn’t want to directly attack Israel. They rather destroy or weaken them through other parties.

Regardless, all of this is still spooky. This is from somebody who is in the ISR world and has worked in Iraq and CENTCOM for 7+ years. I’m glad I’m in PACOM now. We just deal with Chinese interceptions and NK poppin off missile near us every so often.
