To add to what everyone else said, Iron Dome is mostly designed for simple rocket artillery that doesn’t maneuver mid-flight, like what comes from Al-Qassam/PIJ and most of what comes from Hezbollah. They have the Arrow system to intercept more advanced missile systems but clearly Iranian missiles are faster and too maneuverable for it.

Israel has a lot fewer airbases and interceptors for the airbases than Iran has missiles. Iran’s missiles are also spread throughout the country so they can’t get knocked out in a handful of strikes. If Israel tries that shyt on Iran, Israel won’t have any airbases left.

Wait what do you mean it’s not for ballistics? That’s entirely what it’s for.
The only difference between David’s Slings and Arrow 2 and 3 is the ranges and altitudes at which the radar tracks and the intercept missiles used. Rockets are types of ballistic missiles
Edit: but like I stated earlier, on another note, it’s physically and computationally impossible to stop every single rocket a country lobs at you. No matter what the company selling you weapons says. I think in the near future though with laser weapons you’d have a much better chance at it
