Disney bleeding money right now so anything is possible.

Brands that suck don't matter. Most figured OU would still be a solid team coming to the SEC even with Texas being ass but now that is up in the air
Texas vs Miss St will be a bigger deal than BYU vs Texas Tech no matter what Texas record is from a TV standpoint

I think CFB is going to look totally different and nothing like what we see today. The SEC is going to be THE power 1 conference and everyone else will feel like group of 5

we’re going to have weeks of Bama vs Florida OU vs UGA Texas vs TAMU Auburn vs LSU. No other conference will get any airtime at all

The rest of the country won't care. That's why ESPN has to be careful.

Nah, OU would still be 10 win range in the SEC. They were the Bama of the Big 12. Bama with Saban is still in the SEC so they'd be in that tier after Bama
They aren’t consistently beating Bama, Georgia, LSU (with competent coaching) Auburn or Florida either if they can turn it around. Those Missisippi schools are usually respectable some years too. Arkansas is also on a upward trajectory, that coach they got was a very underrated hire.

This ain’t 1985 anymore. These kids don’t give a shyt about tradition when schools like OU were running shyt when they weren’t even born yet. They go to schools based on coaching, proximity to home, and whose hot right now.

OU moving to the SEC makes sense only from a fiscal standpoint. They should have let Texas go on and they would have ran the Big 12.

We’re not getting a scenario with automatic qualifiers when the SEC becomes a super conference. The big 12 won’t even be on tv in the new world. The Pac12 already isn’t on TV

it’s a reason the ACC, Big10 and Big12 announced the alliance and said TBD

How does the super conference matter if you aren't winning shyt? Like if you're Texas, how does this move get you into the playoffs...even if they expand to 12 teams?

I don’t think were we are headed is good for anyone

I don’t think it helps, it’s just too much money to turn down

Not saying he's wrong (he's probably right) but man, say something beforehand. Otherwise, people are just going to assume you're doing a clean-up job for the AD.
Shea Dixon technically did, so did Bruce Fieldman and Ross Dellenger but they had “wannabe insiders” telling LSU fans what they wanted to hear

I think everyone overestimates the power of the SEC when it comes to this. There's a TON of brand loyalty in that region, but it ultimately needs to carry nationally and I'm not watching the SEC unless there's actual stakes. TAMU and Texas aren't appointment TV just because of their name outside of Texas. The same with Oklahoma.

Caleb William's gotta be going with Lincoln.

I still think Chip is in the driver seat right now and building something nice at UCLA. Lincoln will have his work cut out recruiting wise.
Dude literally had all the time in the world and the city handed to him on a silver platter. He not doing shyt there.
