What does this mean?
OU recruits itself. USC doesn’t
OU is top 3 in skill position talent every year
I was never high on Riley because his defenses are awful. He won’t have better teams at USC.

We good in the westOnly problem is this ain’t ncaa football 14, it’s hard to do that and it cost money, and usc seems to not be spending it, and losing out on the some what decent talent in so cal
They had no business being ranked top 10 preseasonHaven’t seen much of shyt about this dude and USC.. I see post after post about Colorado though. Like we all knew Colorado wasn’t going to be good. USC was just in National Championship talks before the free fall. I don’t know what happened to them but got damn![]()

To be fair, shouldn't we start judging coaches around year 3 when most of the team are their recruits (same thing for Deion).
He was ass this year, and their recruiting under him has been surprisingly underwhelming. But it's only his second year there.Yeah but they hired him to get better![]()
It has had an effect but not an accurate one. Portal can boost a team for a year if done correctly and a coach hits on it. But it's hard to really do that year after year at a high level. The base level of recruiting HS players is needed to build an annual contender.Transfer portal has made that runway shorter
He sucks no doubt about it, but USC had no clue this would be the outcomeHe was ass this year, and their recruiting under him has been surprisingly underwhelming. But it's only his second year there.
We'll see by 2025 if this was a bad hire or not.
I mean I don't care much for USC one way or the other, and really dislike Lincoln, so I'd love to see him fail. But I'm not going to jump to conclusions yet. So far, it's not looking too promising. I think his biggest issue is the lack of support from the university to buy the players he needs to win at a high level. Especially now they're going to be in the B1G.He sucks no doubt about it, but USC had no clue this would be the outcome
