They aren't just doing this for any comedian that has a special on their Netflix. I highly doubt that they'll have the same consistency the next time a different comedian pulls what Dave just did.

any comedian can't pull off that social commentary so no they won't do that for everyone. Dave is an anomaly period. don't know any other comedians that can spark a bomb and snuff it out before they leave the room like that. he zaps the power of the outrage with his wit so the corporation doesn't have much to worry about based on his execution. now if he was sloppy and left room to get his shyt picked apart they would cut and run.

Netflix just doesn't want to ruin the business relationship with Dave by removing the special from Netflix and miss on the viewership that he brings in.

If it was a lesser comedian, then it would have already been pulled by now with an apology.

People in this thread are literally making more out of Netflix's response than it has to be

This is literally just a business move in Netflix protecting their investment. It's nothing more than that. This isn't going to be the norm going forward I can promise you that as every comedian isn't Dave Chapelle or drive in the viewership that he does.
