he still has 2 years left on contract and has a No Trade Clause...new people in charge may feel Eli is still best asset at QB for next two years and do their best to convince him to stay. He also likes the area. There is still time for the initial anger he endured to blow over. But it's also a good chance he doesn't want another young QB gunning for his spot for the next two years and it may be easier to just let him ride into the sunset in Denver or Jax while Darnold gets thrown into the mayhem immediately.
