I like this move.
A rather inconsequential move on the surface, but a much more important one the deeper you dive.
If you’ve been paying attention over the last 5-10 years you would’ve heard players openly discuss how they protect their numbers for future contractual purposes. This is a step in the right direction to combat some of those tendencies that have crept into the game.
This thread is not about bron but here comes this nikka with bron dikk all the way down his throatThe Leebronze rule bc the fakkit wouldn't shoot at the end of qtrs to mess up his fg%![]()

Lol at dudes blaming LeBron for everything thing.
Remember when David Stern moved the 3-point line like 10-feet forward for 3-years bc nyggas couldn’t shoot?I’m not tripping over this.

Dennis Scott morphed into that nikkaRemember when David Stern moved the 3-point line like 10-feet forward for 3-years bc nyggas couldn’t shoot?
He was a coward for that. All stats and percentages from ‘95 through ‘97 should have asterisks![]()

Yeah, I remember he started doing that shyt with Miami. Crazy thing is, he shot well over 50% for his career. Those misses wouldn't have even hurt himThe Leebronze rule bc the fakkit wouldn't shoot at the end of qtrs to mess up his fg%![]()
people are gonna be real sad when Steph is goneI will always respect Steph for letting fly no matter what. Real nikka
I hate this change
A lot of fans had an issue with players protecting their numbers. This helps break some of those tendencies. At the very least we're going to see more opportunities of players making long distance shots. That can't be a bad thing. This is hella dumb. Trying to fix a problem that never existed. If a player doesn't want to shoot a half court shot cuz he's scared his fg% is gonna go down then so be it. That's on him.
