yall do realize voting isnt just for the president RIGHT?

talk about politics when yall have admitted you dont know much about politics brehs:snoop:
This is the problem. Most people use the presidency as the only thing they know to vote for. And when it goes bad or something unfavorable happens, they throw away all voting processes as evil. People fall for this okie doke crap amd wonder why they always get a garbage Mayor, councilman, and judges. Someone is certainly voting and their votes are counting.

George Carlin dropping gems:

I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain.

People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that?

If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain.

I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.”

Instead of making it mandatory just make it easier.

Give us the day off.

Let us vote anywhere.

Remove the electoral college.

Remove the (D) or (R) next to the candidates.
All but the removal of the (D) and the (R), more good comes from voting in a full party, rather than portions, especially if its the Dems over the Repubs.
That's how Parliamentary Democracies work, and they tend to be quicker.
Mandatory voting would give the Dems an advantage, there are more Moderate-Liberal people who don't vote than there are Moderate-Conservative people that don't.

All they need is a voting app and turnout would spike. People are just not on going to polls.

Why cant we vote online. We do a lot of banking online, can pay our taxes online, but for voting we're still stuck using paper ballots from the 1800s:dwillhuh:
