Worst idea ever.
Exactly...

Take it from a Jets fan this is the worst possible thing the Chargers can agree to...The last thing you want is to share a stadium with a franchise that has history which will render you the B team in town...

What makes it worse for the Chargers is they're in the same division as the Raiders which means the Raiders will be getting an extra home game every season...

Giants and Jets play once every 4 years unless they both make the SB which will never happen...yet Metlife is still referred to as Giants stadium...:francis:

I'm currently staying in San Diego and I have talked to some of the locals about the move. In my opinion, Qualcomm needs to be replaced badly. With everything that goes on with the city and have people all over the world who live or travel in SD, that can build another stadium and use if for so much more than football if they want to. Plus, I just cannot see LA embracing the Chargers at all. The team is just fine where they are at now :manny:.
Not really.. There's only a handful of artists that can pack a large stadium much less an arena these days. Maybe a Monster Truck event here and there but I've heard repeatedly that a new NFL stadium is a bad investment. $1 billion dollars for 8 home games and a couple of preseason games.. maybe a playoff game. In baseball you get 82 home games. NBA is 40+ also you have concerts, WWE, college ball, etc in arenas

The Chargers need a stadium built in downtown San Diego close to the Gas Lamp district like the Padres got or right on the Bay. Being all the way in Mission Valley while downtown San Diego has boomed the last 10 years has really hurt. Whatever happened to that Magic Johnson lead stadium project in downtown LA by Staples? Did that get shot down or they never got the funding?

they have more than enough population with in driving range for 2 teams. makes sense to me

Problem is they had 2 teams and they both moved... The Rams and raiders... I don't understand why both would want to go back when they moved not that long ago and I'm assuming had there reasons...

LA is good for 1 team just because they can handle 2 doesn't mean they should have 2 shyt I think the clippers should of moved to Seattle and became the sonics I don't know shyt

St. Louis has a new stadium that the task force here has proposed that is not far from the dome. Already approved for financing from the city and state (not financing the whole thing though).

The way things have gone, it would appear that the Rams will not have 24 votes to move the team because many owners have said they don't like to move a team that has a strong/viable new stadium option in the home market.

I don't know if the Carson project will have the votes, but they're likely closer to getting that 24 than the Rams.

I've always wondered, if the NFL is so gung ho about wanting a team in LA so bad, why they haven't just started a new expansion team there instead of indirectly opening the option to other teams to move there. I know they don't care about diluting the product like that because I know they feel they can sell the NFL product no matter how shytty the teams are (NFL product now is not great but people still watch).
