BTW, election law is largely governed by the states (remember that thing you guys like so much). They have the power to decide how to manage their elections, apportion delegates etc subject to federal laws regulating voting rights etc.

To bulk up slave state numbers for representation but no rights for slaves.

Now they want to decrease the count of citizens in states with heavy migrant populations to favor heavy rural states. And decrease funding to bluer states( that won’t change how many people are seeking services we all pay for)
