I've prob watched like 95% of raptors game since 1995, any coach could have won the same amount of games as casey did. How many times over the years did we see his horrible rotations,h ow many time did we scream to play a james johnson or norm powell, or to change the stupid iso derozan offense.

Even the few times casey got out the first round even as a top 3 seed it was always 6 or 7 games. He won ONE game 1 and that was this year against the wizards. Dude never drew plays it was always nurse or kalamian, and his excuse was always he same were the better team just have to execute better make more shots bla bla

I love the whole but casey won anyone would have won, casey first two seasons were horrible and when masai took over he was well within his right to can him, folks forget how horrible the raptors were that season and lowry would have been traded to the knicsk but dolan stepped in and once they traded rudy gay for John Salmons, Greivis Vasquez, Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes the raptors favor turned this had NOTHING to do with casey

Fam, these guys REALLY don’t get it. Let’s take a look at the most recent series sweep, game 1 in particular.

-first quarter, single coverage of Lebron with OG is working like a charm.
-second quarter, OG sits far too long and Siakim requires help to keep Lebron out of the lane. Raptors start doubling at the top of the three point line. Lebron eviscerates the doubles to find open cutters and the lead disappears.
-third quarter, Casey makes the adjustment and stops doubling Lebron. Raps pull away again.
-fourth quarter, Lebron re-enters the game after a short rest. Siakim stays on the floor and gets killed for four minutes. Cleveland cuts lead to under 10. All the starters come back in. Good move. We go to JV, but he’s now cold after sitting too long (typical Casey mistake). So instead we do the inexplicable and give the ball-handling duties to...Derozan, our worst perimeter ball-handler, who takes half the shot clock before even beginning to initiate the offence. Raptors struggle to score against a set halfcourt Cavs defence. Yet instead of making an adjustment, the Raps continued to have Derozan, who got more and more gassed, walk the ball up the court every possession when we had Lowry who had low usage that game AND was hitting shots. But we kept going to Derozan. In OT, we didn’t score until we let Lowry initiate the offence. But it was too late. Momentum was already lost. Raps lose a heartbreaker at home.

And that was just game 1.

it was typical case and why every playoff series no matter who we were playing against your blood pressure would rise

even when the raptors made the conference finals they had two game 7s

raptors were the best hom team in the league tied witht eh rockets and you couldnt even win ONE at home

I wouldn't mind Nick Nurse, his offensive schemes are amazing and him having total control would be great. Plus he would be cheap and you know Mlse aint going to like paying casey 6 mill to chill in seattle and then an established name like 4-5 mill.

I also wouldn't mind Stackhouse as he basically molded these youngsters who are a big part of the core and he's respected.

Fizdale would have been perfect if only we acted sooner, not a fan of most of the external names I've been hearing.

You need someone who isn't afraid to challenge Kyle and/or DeMar if they're still on the team. I seriously think Casey was tentative around those two in fear of losing his job. Which in turn made him lose his job anyway.

A coach needs to grill DeMar for his shot selection, or not being engaged on defense, or not playing off the ball.
