I hope his “friends” get charged with something.

worse thing in our community is boredom and lack of resources.
People everywhere engage in stupid games, rich people pay dumb bucks to climb the most dangerous mountains.
I don't think people with new suv's doing 250 buck games are doing swimming games due to lack of resources.

Just like I don't think guys blowing through the city in sports cars or bikes in 200 are doing it due to lack of resources, by definition

Exactly. Not sure what vid brehs is watching....he got 3/4ths across. He got tired and panicked, cuz in the back of his mind he was probably worried about that exact scenario. And even from the convo before, it was clear people didn’t think he could do it cuz of endurance (kept calling him a fat ass) not cuz he couldn’t swim.

RIP to young bull, gotta respect how deadly water can be. They knew there was a good chance he wouldn’t be able to make it across, they should’ve had contingencies in place. :snoop:
That's my thing. It's like if you fail this dare, you are probably dead. It's not like you just laugh it off and take an L. You lose, you fukking die most likely. What was that nikka thinking? I can see if like 50 million or some shyt was on the line. But WTF!

No such thing. Everything is buoyant from a physics perspective, even bricks and solid rocks. He may have been 'neutrally buoyant' in which case the amount of air in his lungs/respiratory system would control how he'd float to some extent. Also, body fat is buoyant. A SEAL being 'neutrally buoyant' would be due to the denser muscle mass and lack of body fat, in which case breath control and stamina is paramount to his survival. Him not passing Swim Qual. has more to do with the absolutely INSANE requirements for SEALs rather than 'neutral buoyancy'.....although it plays a part.

Dude in video had neither of those, thus, drowned.

This is wrong.

I've been in aquatics my entire life. I sail. I'm a rower. Training for a triathlon. Been swimming since I was a child with professional lessons. There are some people that are negative buoyant. You adjust your technique to compensate but that doesn't change the fact.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
He looked like he was swimming his ass off on the way over, that shyt is so fukking sad. Hand to God, if that was my brother, even if I didn't know how to swim, my parents would be burying 2 of their kids, I cried watching the video imagining if it was my brother. Such a waste of fukking life, over some dumb fukking kid shyt.

Y'all are kinda wrong. There is a thing called being negative buoyant.

Coupled with the fact that the breh in the video was dense and probably wasn't athletic to where he had large natural lung capacity to fill with air to offset his density meant that he'd probably have a hard time just floating.

I'm a great swimmer, but I have a hard time treading. I can employ other mechanisms to stay afloat though.

David Goggins is also negative bouyant and said that he kept failing the Navy Seal test because he couldn't float and majority of the other black men couldn't either although they could swim.

There have been studies done that show more black people being negative buoyant because of our bodies densities and how fat is distributed around our bodies.
13 people? FOOH! are they 100% African, 50 %?
