The friends ain’t shyt but how do you let your brother drown like that and not even attempt to save him. How can he even look his mom in her face knowing he didn’t lift a finger to save his brother. My brother almost drowned when he was 5 years old, I wasn’t even there and I felt like I let my parents down. Dude is a whole piece of shyt IMO.

That's my thing. It's like if you fail this dare, you are probably dead. It's not like you just laugh it off and take an L. You lose, you fukking die most likely. What was that nikka thinking? I can see if like 50 million or some shyt was on the line. But WTF!

They took literally no precautions. The most basic of precautions would’ve saved this breh’s life. :francis:

But there were no flotation devices in sight. Not a single willing party to jump in to help. No one on the other side to get to him quicker if he passed the halfway mark and needed help. They just had no respect for how deadly fukking around in water can be. :snoop:

This is wrong.
There are some people that are negative buoyant.

That would violate physics. They'd have to have NO air in their body to be more dense than water......which is what happens when you drown.

I think scuba divers induce 'negative buoyancy' with weights, but that's about the only thing I can think of aside from the Mob giving someone 'cement shoes'.

No such thing. Everything is buoyant from a physics perspective, even bricks and solid rocks. He may have been 'neutrally buoyant' in which case the amount of air in his lungs/respiratory system would control how he'd float to some extent. Also, body fat is buoyant. A SEAL being 'neutrally buoyant' would be due to the denser muscle mass and lack of body fat, in which case breath control and stamina is paramount to his survival. Him not passing Swim Qual. has more to do with the absolutely INSANE requirements for SEALs rather than 'neutral buoyancy'.....although it plays a part.

Dude in video had neither of those, thus, drowned.
I'm negative buoyant breh

I sink with my lungs full

Then it violates physics. I don't know what to tell you breh. :yeshrug:

You trying to explain away a navy seal + highly vaunted endurance athlete that has had all manner of elite professional coaching and training and has spent hours analysing and perfecting his technique that has won him all types of endurance competitions. I think looking back he would know that he didn't pass because of the insane requirement. Yet, he is still saying that he is negative buoyant. Even after passing, after becoming a seal, after becoming an extreme triathlon athlete.

I am not an Olympic type athlete by any means at all but I have received the same high level coaching that has sent others, who were more driven, to compete in Olympic level competitions.

If you want to say that the idea of negative buoyancy doesn't work scientifically, fine, I'll accept that.

But just saying "don't panic, your body will naturally float", doesn't work the way that you think it does either.

Still homies over hoes. These weren't his homies at all. These are your typical Miss. nikkas, like these dudes can't be counted on to do shyt worthwhile much less save the life of a young bro.

They could of had somebody on the other side with rope or a float, etc. The herd continues to thin itself out. Now his brother got to live with sibling's death all on the internet at that.

That's not really true. Looks like he had enough momentum to keep moving forward with his arms and then he stopped and couldn't stay afloat with his just his arms. Or he made it out that far and got tired and/or panicked.
It is true... there are different levels of being able to swim. The people who can’t do not go anywhere.
