that sony car is just for that. For a second I thought he was playing madden. That would be dope if you have a long commute from work, install a PS5 and play games on the way to and from work![]()
I’m pretty sure even the automakers specify that you have to be aware and pay attention when the car is in self driving mode, so if you are truly doing it the safe way, you shouldn’t be watching football like the guy in that vid. And that defeats the purpose to me. None of this technology is advanced enough to where a human could just turn it on and forget about it. I’m pretty sure they have warning or notification systems where the human would have to take over to avoid a crash. So that means to benefit from the feature, you still have to be super aware and alert to ensure optimal safety.
It’s like hiring a babysitter that you still have to watch over. fukk is the point?

It's not as bad as you make it to be. It's not hard to check yo surroundings, eat, and watch Madden at the same time. The TV is right there on the dash. Folks already do this without the technology
I'm a huge car enthusiast, but this shyt right here is way better than having to 100% control the car you have now. You say what's the point, but you'd love the hell out of that car's technology over what you have now
I understand what you saying, you can't do shyt like take a nap, but we'll get to that point pretty damn fast. Give it 20 more years
