And I'm saying attaining wealth to be passed down from generation to generation means controlling the means to production. Sure individual families can acquire temporary wealth for a generation or two...But owning production is the base of real generational wealth

There are only two politically viable parties in this country, the Democrats and Republicans. You said black people vote blindly for the democrats and do not expect tangibles, so what other party is there to vote for? You said nothing about "both sides", only Democrats. Nothing about hate for either party. So you cant obtain higher end jobs, use the money to live in a stable neighborhood, send your child to college to get educated to obtain a high paying job as well? Most people who are in middle to upper middle class do not control the "means of production" but do just fine without it.

Well this is a message board. No one is gonna solve anything on here typing, it's just for people to have discussions.
Dr. Claude Anderson has given many solutions based on economics. But to keep that economic prosperity going long term, I like Dr. Bobby E. Wright focusing on creating a Black social theory to reform our culture. And to reform our minds and spirit, I like Dr. Ray Hagins who teaches a Black centered spiritual system instead of the Europeanized Christianity our people still practice today.
The real question is does Black America even want a solution? Because when you give a solution, too many people have a problem for that solution. And many of our people in high places are eating off of us being at the bottom so they aren't gonna try to solve anything. They are okay with being a big fish in a small pond.
The only solution I've seen most Black people agree on is reparations and that's for obvious reasons. Takes a lot of pressure off of us and guess who controls that solution.

Damn near 50 years later since this paper was written about Mentacide and Black America is still putting their hope and faith in institutions controlled by.................the people who are intentionally keeping us underneath them.Mentacide differs in theory and practice from concepts, e.g., "brain washing" in that its ultimate aim is the extirpation of an entire race.
There is one essential condition in order for the process of mentacide to be effective; namely, the control of the opposing group's institutions or the power to significantly influence them.
Unfortunately, for the Black race, that condition exists through the world. In fact, some Black groups, e.g., those of the United States and Azania (South Africa) are enslaved rather than being oppressed, exploited, etc., in that all their life sustaining institutions are controlled by whites.
There is no denying that there are whites who are oppressed and exploited by other whites, but they are still able to significantly influence institutional change. The technique of mentacide deludes Blacks into believing that there is a commonality between them and oppressed whites, which leads Blacks to attempt to form alliances with them. Yet, in spite of historical failures of these alliances to benefit Blacks they continue to pursue this process. Unfortunately, Blacks will continue to utilize white directed techniques in attempting to solve their problems and will continue to be unsuccessful until they can develop a "Black Social Theory."
