You might say that now but you find yourself making a $20 million dollar income and that $5500 dollar one bedroom is a one block walk from your office surrounded by 3 supermarkets, a pharmacy, 6-8 good restaurants, a sizable park to relax in, good food trucks nearby....a short train ride to sporting events etc

Lol that money would become a no-brainer for you
That’s true, I guess your outlook changes once you start making this much money

I honestly would like to live in one of those luxury apartments in Manhattan or own a condo but those prices are for the rich

Almost 2,600 on Uber eats is absolute madness. WTF is this Nikka eating for a bill that high?
It’s $86 a day when you divide it for the month.

Now to be fair, in NYC (or at least Manhattan) it’s not crazy to think you can spend $86 a day eating out. Because lunch can easily be $20. Even breakfast can run you $10-12.

You add in some coffees and dinner and if you’re tipping the Uber guy…ok.

But it’s pretty reckless to be doing that every day.

His coworker “Caitlyn” is going to see this video and she’ll send it to his supervisor Ahmal, with some fake-nice/innocent message “Have you seen this awesome new TikTok?” :mjpls: and onto the top of the layoff list his name goes.

That industry cutthroat and that goes for those lilly women, KitKat like the men. :francis:
I’m telling you. I’ll make these ppl pity me and think I need my job before I make some shyt like this public.
I took a personal day and mentioned that I have to take a few of my elders to doctor visit today (which is true!) and they were like “omg, you have to have your own life, too! Your family expects you to take them to all their doctor visits?!”

I’m thinking “bytch this is my family. Who do you think took care of me and gave me $ when I was younger? Yea I can spend 2 hrs going to the doctor and then get some extra time in the gym, shop and see one of my girls for lunch :mjlol:

But if I have to share a little info to get their sympathy that is FINE. Because if I kept it 💯 and said my folks have follow-up appointments with the chief of surgery, etc the jealousy would kick up again and they’d want to know how these black ppl are in with the top doctors in the area. It’s cool. I don’t want any of these ppl to know anything about my ppl or how I spend my money lol

I remember my college boyfriend was a rich kid but let white folks assume he was broke. It wasn’t until they’d see his car and get confused, realizing he wasn’t the poor black kid they assumed lol He was really the one who initially taught me to be more strategic with them.

All this salary sharing is going to bite folks in the ass.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Anything to say i live in manhattan

u see people all the time from the Midwest and living there n NYC and all proud about spending $3 to 5 k a month in rent not including utilities..

I see why New Yorkers born pack up and leave
Blue collar New Yorkers?

This is a white collar software engineer.

2 complete different class of people. Those New Yorkers would stay if they were pulling his salary

On the one hand, it's his money so :yeshrug:

On the other hand, you can't expect to spent an egregious amount like $11k in one month, and NOT have people question what you're doing.

All in all dude seems like an attention whore, same as most people on social media.

Fred.
