Again I have already made several statements addressing why the "just grow it" mind frame may not apply.

Most women who wear weaves/wigs change their hair style all the time. Just b/c you see her in that wig in that video doesn't mean it's a hair style that she wants to dedicate the next 5 years of her life achieving.

I understand your reply....

its a venus and mars thing , I just couldnt imagine putting another human beings hair on my head as long as I could grow hair myself....

Im pretty sure if you met a guy with dredlocks and you discovered that it was a weave because he couldnt be bothered with the process of twisting and locking his hair up you wouldnt exactly respect it

The problem is as men we are more logical

you want long hair? then grow it

shaving yourself bald to put on a wig because you want long hair wont make sense to any average person of intelligence....

my girl has very long hair all natural, shes never worn a weave , her opininon is that its easy for black women to grow long hair but many dont want the hassle of having to maintain it .....

I personally dont care whether a woman wears a weave or not as long as she looks good

but in my opinion this video reminds me of those idiots that shave off their eyebrows to have them tattooed on ...... utter stupidity
Why do you care? Let ppl enjoy things. You'd probably shyt your pants if you found out there's women that get their nails done just to bite them off.

Get one life and stick to it

Men and women's beauty routines are judged differently. :yeshrug: Which is why she probably likes changing her hair up and why you think he needs to stick it out for years to achieve one style. If you don't like it don't date her. She doesn't represent the majority. She's not harming anyone.

if psychological trauma can be inherited, there's no way you can convince me a few centuries of purposefully damaging your scalp has zero generational effects.

Psychological trauma and physical damage are two different things.

Damaging ones scalp with chemicals and weave cannot be passed on to future generations, just like wearing make up doesn't equate to women giving birth to babies with makeup naturally plastered on their faces. Damaging the hair on your head does not affect your sperm or egg cells. Even when you consider epigenetics only global changes can alter DNA expression of future generations. Her eggs do not give a fukk that she is wearing weave, Her weave wearing and scalp damage does not affect what's going on in her ovaries.

Now to touch on psych issues and trauma (I dont think this is what you were referring to)

Predisposition for psychological and psychiatric issues are inherited biologically in the form of producing too much of or not enough enzyme or protein that helps control neurotransmitters. Again, this is a completely different can of worms.
