As it should be. No one with female friends can ever give me a straight answer. One woman is a enough to deal with, the fukk do I want to hear another woman vent to me about her bullshyt? I’m no ones surrogate boyfriend.

Nothin wrong with having female colleagues and acquaintances, that’s absolutely fine and makes sense. I have plenty of those. I’m talking in your personal life.
Outside of work, the only women I talk to are my girlfriend, mom and siblings.

It's an immature, odd response. A better one would simply be to make up an excuse for why you can't help...if you don't want to. Painting is not something that requires a dude, like say...moving a bookshelf into a new apartment. Most women who need to paint are going to ask their girlfriends to come over. Paint, drink wine, order some food...have a good time. Hell if a dude had to paint he'd likely do the same thing, but replace the wine with beer. So saying "don't you have a man" seems weird when my first thought would have been uh...don't you have girlfriends?
I wouldn't help anyone paint..
